So Jet Li and Jackie Chan have done it. I knew Forbidden Kingdom would be a hit. I was also pretty sure it would reach number one in the box offices as well. Jet Li and Jackie Chan appearing for the first time in a pg-13 adventure. Movie gold. Easy money if you ask me.
I think forbidden kingdom made around 21 million over the weekend. Not bad for only two days. I am embarrassed to say I didn't get to see Jet Li and Jackie Chan's first movie yet but I will any day now.
From the reviews that I read it sounds like a fun movie. Jet Li and Jackie Chan doing their thing in Forbidden Kingdom. I even heard the American kid in Forbidden Kingdom did a decent job as well. Good for him. I hope he doesn't think he is the reason the movie is a success though. I am sure the reason people went out to see Forbidden Kingdom is because of Jet Li and Jackie Chan.
