Jet Li and Jackie Chan VS Bruce Lee
It's pretty safe to say that Jackie Chan and Jet Li are the most prolific martial arts actors of their generation. How does Jet Li and Jackie Chan compare to the late great Bruce Lee though?
Bruce Lee really only completed 4 movies(I do not count Game of Death as a completed project). Jet Li and Jackie Chan have completed a lot more than that in their careers. So how come you can't go to mall and find Jet Li and/or Jackie Chan t-shirts everywhere? Bruce Lee merchandise is still very popular 34 years after his death.
Do you have to die young to become that popular? Ask Bob Marley.
Bruce Lee did have a charisma about him that separated him from his peers. Jet Li and Jackie Chan do too but Bruce was fist.
Maybe if Jet Li passed away after Tai Chi master of if Jackie Chan passed away after Police Story they would have been more popular too.
